Riding the Downstream Current
In 2021, the idea of AI hardware in space sounded like science fiction. Today, it is a very tangible, albeit highly risky, supply chain. Three publicly listed companies stand out to me as potential indirect beneficiaries.
First, you have Rocket Lab Corporation. Bringing factories home is one thing, but ferrying servers into the void is quite another. If orbital demand grows, companies that can reliably launch hardware could see a serious uptick in orders.
Then there is AST SpaceMobile Inc. They are building a satellite broadband network to connect straight to everyday mobile phones. Any massive orbital data centre will need rock solid communication links back to Earth.
Finally, we have Kratos Defense & Security Solutions. Moving valuable AI infrastructure into orbit means you have to operate and defend it, which is precisely where Kratos steps in.
