BlackRock Science and Technology Trust (the Trust) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust's investment objective is to provide income and total return through a combination of current income, current gains, and long-term capital appreciation. The Trust seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing, under normal market conditions, approximately 80% of its total assets in equity securities of the United States (U.S.) and non-U.S. science and technology companies in any market capitalization range.
