BlackRock Resources & Commodities Strategy Trust (the Trust) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust’s primary investment objective is to seek high current income and current gains, with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. The Trust will seek to achieve its investment objectives, under normal market conditions, by investing at least 80% of its total assets in equity securities issued by commodity or natural resources companies, derivatives with exposure to commodity or natural resources companies or investments in securities and derivatives linked to the underlying price movement of commodities or natural resources. It invests in various sectors, including software, aerospace and defense, hotels, restaurants and leisure, health care equipment and supplies, interactive media and services, automobile components, ground transportation, and electrical equipment. Its investment adviser is BlackRock Advisors, LLC.
